Wow, time flies. If memory serves me right, I bought my first Ruger 10/22 in 1973. I have been tinkering with 10/22s ever since. Back in those days, there were no aftermarket parts. Most of the modification tips came from people I met at a gun range and from vendors at gun shows.
Times have changed. Today we have the internet for research, and now there are countless online stores where one can buy all sorts of aftermarket parts for the 10/22. You can find everything needed to customize or build your own 10/22 type rifle from scratch.
