Ruger 1022

Tips and tricks

Tinkering with 10/22 is a passion I’ve had for most of my adult life. If memory serves me right, I bought my first brand-new 10/22 carbine back in 1973 for $59.00 plus tax. That was a lot of money for me. I worked after school at a gas station and restaurant earning minimum wage. At $1.60 an hour, it took me several weeks to save up.

Back then there was no internet. I learned mods and tricks from people I met at the gun range and gun shows.
